Breast Augmentation Before and After

On the day of surgery, you will meet initially with the nurse and then the anesthesiology staff, who will carefully explain the type of anesthesia they will be using. You can expect to be slightly drowsy most of the day. Most patients do not have a significant amount of pain during this time and we recommend taking pain medications as needed every four to six hours. You can typically expect to be able to return to work in 3-5 days and start exercise and more strenuous activities in 3-4 weeks.
